its clients. This site provides access to the information communities
initiated directly by Austega Information Services.
These include the following major initiatives:
- Operational Risk Community -
A new information community servicing risk professionals in the evolving
domain of operational risk management and measurement, particularly
in the financial sector where regulatory initiatives such as Basel
II have prompted industry action.
- Family History - Contains structured course material for various family history courses offered, together with a range of useful articles and links
to genealogical resources. Tailored family history research services also available.
- Gifted Education Resources - Provides an extensive collection of resources
for gifted children and their teachers, parents and other care-givers.
- The 2020 School - Explores how learning communities can use technology
to evolve beneficially and the issues and hurdles that need to be
addressed along the way.
- Risk Management for Schools - Explores how schools need to pick
up new skills to manage risk for their communities.
And the following minor progams:
- Interactive Writing - Provides thoughts on and some examples of
interactive creative writing (needs updating).
- Duplicate Bridge - Provides a growing collection of resources
useful to those interested in the great game of duplicate bridge.
- FreeCell - Resources and a challenge to those who are addicted
to this original Microsoft game.
- Ground
Control - A very simple lunar lander game written in 1997
- still very playable and only 11k.
