Richard WILKINS was a railway engine driver. He first married Catherine BONNEY, but she died 2 years later. In 1871 he married Elizabeth BRAMWELL in St John's Parish Church in Preston, Lancashire and had 3 daughters - Mary, Jane and Sarah Ann.
Mary married Edward KELLETT and later emigrated with him to Sydney, Australia.
Jane married William BARNES, and continued living in Preston.
Sarah Ann married John Thomas SUMNER, and also remained living in Preston.
