William LANG was born in 1825 at Lawhitton, Cornwall in England. He married Elizabeth HARRIS in 1852 in Cornwall and then migrated to South Australia, where he had the following children: William (1853), Richard (1856), Elizabeth (1858), Sarah (1861), Lydia (1864), John (1866), Amelia (1868) and Catherine (1870).
William Harris LANG married Catherine Emma COOPER and after her death married Elizabeth OLDFIELD. They lived at Riverton in South Australia and had the following children: Gwendoline, Ethel, Percy, Vera and Elsie.
Richard Maddever LANG was a miner who moved around following the work. He married Lucy Susan HUMPHRIES at Riverton, and they had the following children: Frank, Jack, Ruby, Lucy, and Fred. These last 3 were born at Broken Hill.
Elizabeth Harris LANG married James Adamson KELLY, and had the following children: Winifred, Ruby, James, Alexander and Margaret.
